This is the second half of the Briggs family history, which includes a daring raid he carried out as a world war one pilot in the Royal Naval Air Service. Also of his wife Violet whose wartime and after the war efforts in the village.

I have been doing a lot of my family research lately and discovered Edward was my great great Uncle! I had just recently read of his captivity in Germany but hearing a more innocent story of his life after the war was so touching, this war torn veteran pushing himself along the street on a ladies bike XD Classic
I don't know if you are still around but thanks for sharing this and the one on his son Michael (my cousin) too!
